Description

MATRIKX Pb1 is a powerful, highly functional water filter for domestic and commercial water treatment systems. Extruded activated carbon reduces soluble lead using an ion exchange filter with excellent soluble lead specificity. Particulate filtration is used to block insoluble particles containing lead.

Standard 2.50" x 10" filters reduce lead, meet performance requirements from NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for more than 10,000 gallons when operating at 2.84 LPM flow. Provides extremely high levels of chemical reduction in drinking water, including the foul taste and odor of chlorine. MATRIKX Pb1 meets NSF/ANSI Standard 53, turbidity and cyst reduction, including Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba and Toxoplasma.

Notes:

  • Predicted ability to reduce the taste and odour of chlorine when tested according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 protocol.
  • Nominal particle rating (0.5 µm) is for >85% of a given size as determined by single pass particle count results.
  • This filter should be placed in a suitable container and rinsed at least 5 minutes prior to use.
  • It is recommended that the filter be changed when the flow decreases or at least once a year.
